The abstract should contain an unstructured abstract of 200 words, with between 3 and 5 keywords listed under it.
Submitting your Research
This journal uses the portal system to help track the review process of your submissions. Please note that Ahyu screens papers for unoriginal material. By submitting your paper to Ahyu you are agreeing to originality checks during the peer-review and production processes.
On acceptance, we recommend that you keep a copy of your Accepted Manuscript and note that no changes to affiliation can be made anymore.
Initial Review, Peer Review and Ethics
Once your paper has been assessed for suitability by the Managing Editor, it will then be double blind peer reviewed by referees with expertise on the research area.
Funding and Disclosure statement
Please disclose all funding bodies responsible for funding your research, if there are. This means disclosing any financial interest that has arisen from the direct applications of your research. If there are no relevant competing interests to declare, please state this within the article, for example: "The authors report that there are no competing interests to declare."
Figures
Figures should be of high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for color, at the correct size). Preferred file formats for figures are: EPS, PS, JPEG, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX).
Publication Charges
We do not charge submission or review fees. For now, as a token contribution to the cost of production, only publication fees are asked for after two reviewers have deemed the research work publishable. The small amount charged to authors is derived from the number of pages the article accepted and formatted for publication comprises, but usually not exceeding $50.00.
Author’s Published Article
Upon publication, the author will be able to view, download and check the article’s metrics such as downloads. This is where you can access every article you have published with us, as well as your link to ecopies, that you can easily share your work with friends and colleagues. You are encouraged to also keep a copy of your published article in your institution's repository.
